Here's the rest of the Countdown and the conclusion .
6 . Absolutely Fabulous - BBC1, BBC2- 1992-2005 - This show is By Far the most famous and controversial show BBC has ever Produced . First Premiered on BBC1 in November of 1992 , It is known for being out there , funny , and over the top . Many PBS stations , when it came over here , refused to run it due to how inapporiate its sometimes was . Eventually Comedy Central picked it up .. But .. They only ran certain episodes but out of order . When I was England I watched it at 11pm on BBC3 and it was great they had it on like every night . It's kinda like their Sex and the City in a way . But anyway , it ran for so long there because it was so popular . It produced 40 Episodes , Some Specials , and whole lot more . Fans even nicknamed it AB Fab . What a cool Nickname! I feel that this show is by far their best comedy . Maybe better than the UK Office . I know I know.. If A British Citizen saw this theyd go nuts! .. They worship the Office .. but this show is still great too . It revovles around Edna and Patsy , two best friends who always get into trouble . Whether it be alchol or Drugs , you can smell trouble a mile away with these two!!!
Jennifer Saunders made this show what it is , and its great . It's weird how it went on from 92 then back to 94 , and ran from 95-96 , and came back out of nowhere in 2001. After a 5 year absence?? It was almost like how Family Guy came back on the way they did overseas. It's weird . Even in America too , In 2005 , Oxygen , owned by Oprah , picked up the show for one season . Really random right ?? They recently came out with an Absoultely Everything - Complete Series Gift Set and If you don't have the DVD's , which i don't its worth it . You can find it online for about 100 Dollars . Which isn't bad your're getting 5 Seasons and 3 specials so I think it's worth it .
In Conclusion , In the 90's before the whole Office and Coupling Craze This was the BBC show to Watch . This show made BBC comedy popular again , this show made BBC a big International Hit again in my opinion . They even have People who act out the characters of Edna and Patsy on the Streets of London still! 16 Years Later , this show is still being played . That says something!

Best BBC Shows Ever Pt 2
Good Morning All ! Here's the next part of the Best BBC Shows Ever!
4. Doctor Who - BBC1- 2005- Present - I've never seen the orig. Doctor Who , but the new Doctor Who is pretty sweet . Doctor Who started back in the 60's when BBC was just starting out . Then in the 2005 , BBC decided to try to develop a more modernized version . That modernized version brought in a new cast , and even better stories . It's been on the BBC1 for 4 Seasons now and just finished up its 4th season a few weeks ago . It's a cool show . The stories are great , and Many fans that grew up with the org. back in the day love the new version . They like the new version , because it still sticks to its old roots . Not alot of Spinoffs do that too often . The only problem with this show , if you want to buy this on DVD, it's really expensive . It's like almost 80 dollars for a 5 Disc set ! I like the show . But I can't spend that much on a DVD . I have my limits . But either way , In America , They show it on BBC America all the time . Recently , Scfi got the rights to it as well , so they've been showing the show as well for people who don't have BBC America can watch it on Sci Fi . Travel back in time with this show , you won't be dissapointed !
Favorite Doctor Who Episodes- Aliens of London , Boom Town , The Idiot's Lantern , and Blink .
5. Little Britain - BBC2, BBC3 - 2003-2005 - This show has got to be BBC's most outrageous show I've ever seen . It's by far one of the most laugh -out loud shows I've ever experienced . The show is a sketch comedy show created by Matt Lucas and David Williams , both of London , and the funny part is , They play about a bizallion characters , it makes the show that much more funnier . For the most part , they are in Drag , yes I said it ! , It makes it that much more entertaining to watch . They are even making a version for HBO called Little Britain USA!! It's premiering in September and it looks great! I read they filmed it in front of a Live Audience in a little theather the size of the SNL set , so it should be awesome , I'm defnitely looking forward to it .
Favorite Little Britain Episodes - Most People in a Mini , Season 2 Ep. 4 , Season 3 Episode 5.
Also the new show Premieres Sept . 28 on HBO during their New Sunday Lineup!!

Tomorrow !
Pt . 2 of the Best BBC Shows ever and more !! leave me comments here ... or on my Facebook as well!
Best BBC Shows Ever Pt . 1
I've always liked THE BBC 1 . And all the shows that come with The BBC , as they call it overseas . And Once I went over to England last summer , it seemed liked all I did was watch TV when I was in my hotel room . And I loved the programming and while I was there discoverd some cool shows . And it's pretty amazing how BBC is so popular now compared to say 1990 or so.
Anyway ,
Here is my Best BBC Shows Ever. In No Particular Order .
1. Coupling - BBC1 - 2000-2004 - Coupling is by far one of my favorite BBC shows ever . It's like watching Friends and Seinfeld with a British Twist . I know everyone has said that about it , but its the truth. It's just that funny . Coupling revovles around a group of Thirtysomethings in London trying to have a somewhat social , and sometimes love life . The best character on that show has to be Jeff . If their was a Male Phoebe type character on Friends that'd be Jeff . His comedic timing is great . He also has the funniest lines in the world . Coupling is known because they 've made all of these catchpharses and most of them are from Jeff . The Giggle Loop , how can you forget the Giggle Loop?!!!!??? If you're a fan you know what I'm talking about it . If not you need to see it , it's too hard to explain . I also love how they don't say ass or butt , they say Bottom . Their's one Ep. entitled , " My Best Friend's Bottom" and half the show , all they do is talk about seeing their Best Friend's Bottom by accident . It's classic . They all have such great chemistry . And they all for some reason , at least have something in common with a Friends Character . For Example , Steve ( Jack Davenport) , is alot like Ross , because he always seems to get the really hot girls , even though he's really goofy , and in this case he gets Susan ( Sarah Alexander) , She's like Rachel with a British Accent . She even says things that Rachel on Friends would say . It's Nuts!
It was only on for four Seasons , but still today , it is being planned in Reruns on BBC1 and here in the us on BBC America. If you haven't seen it catch it , it's def. worth it!
Favorite Coupling Episodes : My Dinner in Hell , My Best Friend's Bottom , The Freckle , The Key , and the Couple Who Weren't (What a title! ) and Sex , Death and Nudity .
Hotel Babylon - BBC1- 2006-Present - This show is BBC's next big hit for sure . It's got it all Sex, Great Actors ,and the camera work is great . I read that when they shot the pilot , the creators wanted the show to be like NBC's Las Vegas , because they loved the way they showed aerial shots of Vegas . They do the same thing with London and it's really cool . Hotel Babylon focuses on employees at the Hotel and what they do at work and after hours .... No Pun Intended . I also like how the main Character Charlie is the narrator of the show . It makes the story more interesting . The ads are great too . The tagline for the show is " Get A Room " and they have a couple in a bed holding a pillow with the British Flag on it . It's pretty sexy and smart marketing . Even though its been on the BBC since 2006 its still working on some kinks . It has a good following , but it'll be a true BBC sucess in a year or so. It caught on here in the US too , As soon as it aired on BBC America , TV Guide , I remember was raving about it . They still are. I think in some ways it's doing better on BBC America , than it is here . I've noticed that they need to introduce more characters , they have a small ensemble , but that'll change once the show gets popular . So far 1 season has been released on DVD in the US . Season 2 is Coming out Next Month . Def . Go check it out , You'll never want to check out of this Hotel!
Favorite Hotel Babylon: Pilot , Season 1 Ep. 3 , Season 1 Ep. 4
The Office - BBC2 - 2001-2003 - How come this show is BBC's most popular show in recent history and it was only on for two years??? It's a great show . I love it . But Doesn't make sense to keep it on longer?? Whatever , This show is great . It's offbeat really different , and funny . The show revovles around Office workers in a small town outside of London called Slough , Yes it exists , and people do live there, and the weird happenings in The Office . The company is called Wernham Hogg , what a name . And its a paper company . The main character is David Brent ( the always great Ricky Gervais ) who is the Regional Manager , the boss , and he is the meanest , yet funniest Boss in the world . He is so into himself that he has his own World's Best Boss Cup in his Office that he uses frequently . Then there's Gareeth Keenan , is that British?? .. Sounds Irish to me ! .. Anyway , he plays The Assitant ot the Reg . Manager . Basically , Another Manager but without the Manager title .
It's quite funny . He's so weird yet you feel bad for him because , everyone gives him such a hard time , even David , who's supposively has only real friend . Then there's Tim Canterbury , Love IT! .. who is the nice guy in the office , the guy who is sweet, kind , and gets the girl but fairly . What this show is known for , is Tim Canterbury's Character .
His glances at the camera are classic . Little smiles , funny faces , it's great . I love how little things like that make a show rememberable and it truly does . The Office is by far BBC's biggest hit they've ever had EVER . People in England go nuts . I even have Office Parties , watching the American Office , which is just as Awesome!! Every Thursday while I'm at school . In England , the Office has a following kinda like Seinfeld did , it was the little show that could , and people still watch it today in reruns throughout England and the World .
Favorite Office Episodes - The Quiz , New Girl ,Season 2 Episode 3

New Shows to Watch For On the Big Networks ... ABC and Conclusion
ABC
I like ABC but they've been struggling , and last season's writer's strike didn't help . I feel they need to do something about Grey's . End the show , or fix the writing , simple as that .
To be honsest , none of ABC 's new shows interest me , the only one that could be good is Oppurtunity Knocks .
But anyway , The two shows on ABC I watch is Pushing Daisies and Lost . Pushing Daisies is just so unique and colorful and offbeat , it sometimes feels like your'e watching a movie and not a show . The cast is great . And I saw the set of the WB Tour in Hollywood !! Two months before the show aired , they were talking about it on the tour , and the girl goes , " WB and ABC are really excited for this show , it's different and origonal and we are really looking forward to airing it for our auidence on ABC" . It's a great show . If you haven't seen it , check it out . It's coming out on DVD in September and I can't wait!
In Conclusion , for alot of networks the 08-09 season can be described in one word . Rebuilding . All the freshman series from last year . Got screwed . They had short seasons. Pushing Daises had 13 eps , Chuck 18 , and Big Bang 18 , to name a few . Some shows , got some longer , How I Met Your Mother got 20 . They got lucky . And most shows that got their debut season last year got canceled and won't be returning . And the one reason for that is simple . The Strike . Everyone was affected . New and old shows . But the new shows got screwed the most . So this year is rebuilding . I think this seasons looks promising . Fox and The CW need this season the most . Yet , I think CW needs it more . Fox I think will have a great season for shows , and so will NBC . Yet will see . It's only July . But I think Fox will be on top at the end of the 08-09 season .
Until Then Will have to Watch and See !!!
Cheers ,

New Shows to Watch For On the Big Networks .. CBS and the rest!
CBS
Worst Week - CBS Mondays - CBS Mondays , is by far one of my favorite nights of the week for TV . I love it so much I watch it uninterputed . I close my door in my room at college , and if people come in I say please come back later , I 'm busy watching . The past few years , the Monday Lineup has become of the best nights for sitcoms . And with this new show , its gonna get even better . Once again , Worst Week is another BBC show! The BBC orig . is called "The Worst Week of My Life" , and it aired in England on the BBC1 , for 2 seasons . It should've lasted longer , but nothing in England does . Anyway , I rented it on Netflix , only because it was reccomended for me because I rated Coupling . And I loved it . It was smart , funny and really origional . Supposively , it didn't do that great on the BBC1 and I think at the time BBC1 was having a rebuilding period , because they just finished The Office a year before Worst Week premiered , and it premiered at a weird time , in the summer . So I don't think BBC had alot of faith in it . Also , Coupling , their huge hit , just ended months before , So they thought this could be their next big hit . It did alright for what it was . It ran for two seasons on BBC1 , 14 episodes , and a Christmas Special .
The concept of the show is simple . Every episode of the season is one day leading up to the wedding . It is quite funny . Very hard to find in the US , only because it isn't as popular as say , Ab Fab , Coupling , or The Office is . It was funny though , really cool format , and just not your typical show . This show will be a hit for CBS . The format is perfect , and they couldn't have picked a better network for CBS , and night . It is a perfect companion for their CBS Monday comedy lineup . One last thing , having Red as the father of the bride , is pure genius! He is perfect to play the mean old man type . I love this show already!
To be honest , This is the only new CBS show I'm looking forward too . On their Fall Schedule , they have 5 new shows . That's it?? Dump Survivor , and Dump The New Adventures with Old Christine , and all their reality shows and get some new ones! 5 is not enough . Come on CBS this just makes you look lazy .

New Shows to Watch For On the Big Networks ... Part 2
NBC
Kath and Kim - Must See TV Thursdays - This show is probably NBC's most hyped about Comedy of the year . It stars Molly Shannon , of SNL Fame , and Selma Blair , as a mother and daughter . Yes , in real life the two could probably be sisters , but this is TV folks anything can happen . The show is an American Version of a popular sitcom that was origonated in Australia . It was a pretty big hit there , so maybe it'll do the same here . Although , back in 2003 , NBC got the rights for the beloved and hysterical hit BBC show Coupling , and it bombed . If I was at NBC I would be very careful with this one, so it's not like Deja-Vu all over again with Kath and Kim . Although , the cast is hysterical , you really can't go wrong with Shannon and Blair , Shannon has always been talented , and Blair is starting to come into her comedic shell nicely .
The Office Spinoff- Title and Slot Tentative - When I first heard about this , I was skeptical . I thought this is just typical NBC . Make a spinoff just when the show is hitting its comedic stride . But then they decided a great marketing strategy . Premiere the Pilot after the Super Bowl. Genuis ! Yet , that didn't stay for long only because a script is still being finalized ,and is still in the beginning stages . But , It's gonna be great . Rumors started to afloat quickly on numerous Office Fan Sites , when NBC first announced it back in the spring . They really want Ed Helm's Character, Andy to be the main focus of the sitcom . I hope it happens . Ed Helms' the man . I went to the Office Convention , and I had a blast . He was hysterical , and you got the feeling that Hollywood hasn't really set in to the actors , and their just along for the ride . And loving every minute . Then , earlier this summer NBC said they are interested in casting Amy Poeheler for the spinoff . I heard that and jumped for joy !
I think she'd be great for this show . She could totally pull it off , and pull in ratings for the show as well . As of July , the only person that is in it is Aziz Anzari , from Human Giant . I liked that choice , but still Amy Poeheler ! That would be great . As Ed Helms' Andy would say A Roo DOO DOO DOO!

This TV season for many networks is a rebuilding year . Mostly due obviously to the Writer's Strike. Most Freshman shows from Last Year , their seasons were cut short too due the strike and some stayed and some didn't . For the CW and ABC , they suffered the most out of all the big networks . Here are some of the shows to watch for next season:
FOX
Fringe - Mondays - Starting Sept 9 - 2 Hour Series Premiere - This show is Exec. Produced by JJ Abrahms the Genius behind one of my favorites , Lost . It stars Joshua Jackson , best known as " Pacey" from the hit 90's teen drama Dawson's Creek . So far from what I've heard this is Fox's new big show . They recently put out a teaser trailer for the Pilot online on their official website , (fox.com/fringe) . I have to say I was very impressed . It seems to me that everyone at FOX is hoping that this will be the new X- Files for the 00's . It defnitely has the feel , yet I think Fox doesn't need another X- Files for this generation . Yet , be as it may , this show alone will do well for the network. People who watch Lost , myself included , will tune it to the Pilot , to see what the fuss is all about . To me , seeing Joshua Jackson again on screen , who is a highly underrated actor in Hollywood , in something other than Creek , is a reason alone to tune in .
Dollhouse - Midseason - TBA - Rumored January - It seems like this show is a companion to Fringe . I think the only reason Fox picked up this show was to see how it would work having two new Sci- Fi Dramas on the same schedule. It looks promising . Yet out of the two , Fringe is getting more hype and will probabaly due better . Joss Whedon , the creator of Buffy , created this one . Yet , he hasn't done a show in years , and honestly I never watched Buffy , so I can't say how good it will be , but it has promise .
CW
90210- Mondays - Starting Sept 1- This show is defnitely one of the shows I'm looking forward to seeing . I am a fan of the origonal and this is something that I've heard Aaron Spelling wanted to do before he died . Well , it happened just a little later than we thought . The cast is defnitelypheonimial . Lori Laughlin is the main star , the mother character , playing the new Mrs. Walsh , for the new modernized "reboot" . The father , a Melrose Alum , Rob Estes , as the father . He's a good choice , but couldn't they've searched a little farther ? I know it makes sense . Both Melrose and the origonal 90210 are both produced by CBS/Paramount . But, moving on . One of the best casting choices , if not the best out of the new characters , is Shaenae Grimes from Degrassi . She is wholesome looking and naturally good looking with or without the makeup .
She's playing the Brenda Walsh character for the new version . The rest of the cast is just so so . I think the whole thing with the adopotive brother . Oh Please , give me a break . Is total garbage and waste of time . I do like however that they are bringing back alot of the recurring cast members from their mother series , Beverly Hills 90210. Jennie Garth , Tori Spelling , Joe E . Tata! ( NAT!) , and even Shannen Doherty . There will defnitely be drama with her on set again! Also , Jason Priestly has said he wants to direct . Which is great thing for this show . He has really grown as a director and I think it makes more sense . He belongs behind the camera for this project . Lastly , The Peach Pit will stay , yet it is a coffee shop , instead of a diner , which makes sense , to keep up with the times . And the Peach Pit After Dark , which they never called it that too often anyway , will be called The After Dark . Hmm .. didn't they nickname that already in the orig . Beverly Hills ?
Either way this show is a must for CW at this point , the network is counting on it . They've got nothing too much left after the horrible year they had last season . Although they have Gossip Girl , and One Tree Hill , this could be the show they need. This show will either bomb , which i hope it won't ! , or do great . For CW's sake , they need it to do great . Because , if it doesn't this could be CW's final year as a network .
